This week we will take up the Catholic Home Missions Appeal. Today, nearly 40% of dioceses in the United States and its current and former territories are unable to fund the essential pastoral work their communities need. We will honor all married couples celebrating their wedding anniversary in APRIL at all Masses this weekend of Divine Mercy Sunday (April 26 - 27).

This year our parish goal for the Annual Diocesan Appeal is $101,462 with a stretch goal of $170,000. At St. Lawrence, on the advice of the Finance Council, we will use our stretch goal to renovate the Parish Hall and adjacent rooms making our parish a more welcoming space to celebrate and learn of the love of Jesus in our lives. - What is the Luck of St. Lawrence Lottery?Both Saint Lawrence the Martyr Parish and Saint Lawrence Elementary and Middle School organize the Luck of St. Lawrence Lottery. Raffle tickets are sold at $10 a ticket or $150 for a booklet of 15 tickets.
- How do I buy tickets? Raffle tickets are sold at $10.00 a ticket or $150.00 for a booklet of 15 tickets. Tickets are available at the parish and school offices. Sold ticket stubs need to be returned complete with the purchaser’s name, address, telephone number, email address, student’s name and grade (school only), with payment, preferably check. Keep the tickets so you know your number(s).
- Who can buy raffle tickets? Anyone! You can purchase raffle tickets for your own use, or sell to neighbors, friends, family, etc. The more raffle tickets purchased, the greater your chance ofwinning one or more of the drawings.
- How will winners be notified? Winners will be notified by email or phone. Names will be published in the parish bulletin and the school newsletter.
- What happens to my ticket if I am the winner that month? Your ticket is re-entered into the raffle again for the next drawing. You have the chance to win multiple times from September 5, 2024 through June 11, 2025.

In partnership with the St. John Paul II Foundation, St. Lawrence the Martyr Catholic Church invites married couples in their early years of marriage or with children in the home to participate in the Together in Holiness Formation series!
The Together in Holiness Formation series provides year-round marriage enrichment for small communities of spouses that equips them with the formation, encouragement, support, and practical tools to grow together in holiness and form their children in the Catholic faith.

- A meal and time for fellowship

- A Bring it Home component that translates learning into living
The registration cost for the year is $75 per couple.
